The project provides for two stages of construction.

First of all, the landscaping of the adjacent territory, reconstruction of the facades of the existing theater is performed.

The second is the rehabilitation of the building with the technical re-equipment of the existing theater building and the reconstruction of the Operetta Theater extension.

In order to ensure aesthetic perception and fixation of the building of the Theater and entertainment institution in the spatial structure of the quarter, it is proposed to form its three-dimensional characteristics in combination with the main dominant of the quarter - the existing building of the Kiev National Academic Theater, SPORT Hotel, the building on the street. V. Vasilkovskaya, 51 and the new administrative building of the NSC itself. The idea behind the project for the reconstruction of the operetta is to combine a historic existing classical-style building with a new modern one.
